NDIS funding for meal preparation and delivery
Maintain your independence and health with support from a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) registered meal delivery service. Eligible NDIS participants with meal preparation and delivery support as part of their NDIS plan can choose a provider to provide them with nutritious meals, delivered to their door.
If you have NDIS funding for meal preparation and delivery, you pay for the ingredients as an everyday cost and NDIS will cover the meal preparation and delivery costs. Check with your NDIS provider for further information, as this information is subject to change.
Changes to the NDIS clarifying the supports that NDIS participants can and cannot spend their NDIS funding on came into effect on 3 October 2024. The goods and services that can and cannot be claimed can be found on the NDIS website. For example, the NDIS does not cover food expenses (ingredients) as this is an everyday expense, but may cover meal preparation and delivery costs.

The NDIS does not have the function of approving or endorsing particular goods or services as "NDIS approved" or "NDIS funded", and neither does this website.
To find NDIS registered providers you can search the Provider Finder here or when you are on the myplace portal.
